Non-profit Mission Statement:

**Why Our Animal Rescue Exists:** 

Our mission is to rescue dogs that are at risk in animal shelters. We do not accept surrendered animals; instead, we provide shelter for rescue dogs until they find responsible, loving homes. Our top priority is to save dogs that are at risk of being euthanized in shelters. In the future, we plan to raise funds to assist pet owners with medical expenses related to life-saving procedures. We understand that many people can face financial difficulties, and we aim to help those who love their pets but struggle to afford necessary medical operations.

 **By Law:**  We cannot accept surrendered dogs or those that have been found. All dogs must be processed through animal control first. Please note that abandoning or abusing a dog is a punishable crime. 

We also provide therapeutic services that offer comfort, joy, and support in hospitals, schools, and nursing homes. Our trained rescue dogs deliver unconditional love, reduce stress, and encourage interaction, helping with anxiety, depression, and even physical and speech rehabilitation. The goal of our therapeutic services is to boost confidence and social skills in schools, support children with learning disabilities in reading aloud, foster social interaction for neurodivergent students, and combat loneliness in nursing homes and hospices. Additionally, rescue dogs can help manage symptoms of depression, anxiety, and PTSD, promoting better mental health. We welcome people of all ages to spend time with our rescue dogs. Some individuals seek companionship but lack the funds, time, or ability to own a dog. We facilitate observed visitations that include activities such as playing, hiking, walking, and running, allowing our rescue dogs and people to interact meaningfully. We are also advocates for animal rights, working to improve the treatment of our furry friends. 

**Which Animals or Breeds We Serve:** 

Our rescue focuses on dogs of all breeds. We also aim to provide resources for other animals in need of rescue. 

**How We Serve Animals and the Community:** 

Animal shelters are often at maximum capacity and routinely face the difficult decision of euthanizing healthy and well-behaved dogs. Our goal is to help prevent euthanasia by providing love and care for these dogs until we can find them the perfect homes. We serve the community by offering therapeutic services, educational opportunities, and companionship. We provide resources for dog care at local, state, and national levels, including educational programs on health, proper care, longevity, training, pet transportation, and affordable healthcare. Furthermore, we advocate for laws to protect animals. As caretakers of the world, we are responsible for serving those who depend on us and for shaping our surroundings. We support the prosecution of individuals who abuse animals.

Our dog rescue serves the state of Georgia but is also dedicated to helping dogs in need throughout the country and around the world.
